I love Summer!!!

Here's just a bit of what I love about summer...
Oh, and a bit of Spring too!

Making hay...

4-wheeler rides with the little brothers...

Jet Skiing (this was my first time going, will definitely be doing that again!)...

I still can't believe I was able to go spend a week with this girl in NY! But I am so glad I could!

Long trips are much more enjoyable when riding with friends, making bracelets is also a plus! =)

I'm not sure who all took these photos...I only took a few of them, the rest of the time my camera was getting used by various other people.

The other day I decided that we have so many fabric scraps, I should probably make something with some of them.

So, I started with this little stack:

 And after many minutes of cutting, pinning, sewing, ironing, ripping out stitches, and sewing again, I came up with this bag:

 I put this cute little denim pocket on the inside.

Volunteering at the thrift store...

 I volunteer as a cashier at this nice little thrift store a few times a month. It's very stretching for me, since I have to talk to tons of people. ha!
